Google Play has surpassed the Apple App Store in downloads for the first time ever, according to a new report. Google Play downloads bested the App Store by 10 percent, due in part to a sharp increase in downloads in Russia and Brazil. But Apple still leads in revenue, taking in more than 2.3 times the amount of Google Play.
