Rodale, Inc. is currently seeking an Analytics Manager for the Business Intelligence Analytics Team. This position will be responsible for advanced statistical analysis, data mining and modeling for Rodale?s direct to consumer marketing business. Analytics will be conducted across multiple channels with a strong emphasis on online marketing. This role is located in our Emmaus, PA location.

Responsibilities include: -Provide analytic support for the implementation of marketing initiatives. -Evaluate large transactional data sources and multiple data types from various platforms (website data, transactional data, email promotion history and metrics, etc.) and define new data dimensions and predictive variables. -Translate raw data into consumer insights and strategies. -Develop statistical segmentation using advanced statistical techniques (e.g. factor analysis, cluster analysis) and explore currently undefined customer behaviors. -Develop recommendations for online contact strategies and the optimization of customer value over time (frequency of promotion, product streams, affinity). -Identify customer triggers (e.g. email opens or clicks, online order activity, etc.) that require a change in online marketing tactics. -Create models to predict propensities for online and email activity as well as recommend strategies for the application of the models. -Provide modeling and analytic support for direct mail and telemarketing programs. -Manage direct reports, providing direction in setting priorities and training/coaching for career development.

Job Requirements: -Bachelor?s or Master?s Degree in a quantitative field preferred (statistics, mathematics, economic, etc.). -5+ years experience in direct-to-consumer multi-channel marketing analytics. -Experience with large consumer transactional databases, direct response industry and/or agency. Knowledge of external overlay/enhancement data sources. -Experience with advanced statistical techniques including regression modeling, factor analysis, cluster analysis, and creation of multivariate testing structures. -Experience with online analytics tools such as Coremetrics and Omniture. -Familiarity with online data management platforms such as BlueKai, Exelate, and Rapleaf. -Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate and summarize complex analytic findings into actionable marketing recommendations. -SAS programming -Proficiency in Microsoft products ? Excel, PowerPoint, Word -Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team environment.
